ABOUT:

I am a certified and passionate yoga teacher, teaching Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow and Rocket yoga classes around London, with the intention to inspire lives mentally, physically and spiritually.

My 200h teacher training was completed under the guidance of, Jamie Clarke and Dulce Aguilar (The Yoga People), qualifying in Ashtanga Vinyasa and the rebellious Rocket Yoga. Ashtanga and Rocket classes allow the development of strength, flexibility and cardio, while also leaving you feeling lighter, and more mindful; helping you find clarity in life, both on and off the mat. Ashtanga and Rocket are traditionally set sequences, both challenging but with given options, allowing the opportunity for you to notice your developments within the physical practice and learn the sequences.

While Vinyasa satisfies my desire of creativity and playfulness. A time in which my mind can free flow and the dancer in me escapes into the journey on the mat. Bringing together inversions, funky flows and of course the opportunity to take a big exhale and sigh it out your mouth, as we relax.. savasana.

It was Rocket yoga that originally got me hooked onto the mat, but since my practice has developed into many styles of Yoga including, Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, Power, Yin, and Dharma Mittra, influencing my teachings. After initially falling in love with a dynamic, powerful practice, I now encourage the yin with the yang.

With a strong, fluid and dynamic practice, catered to all levels; be prepared to build heat and reconnect with your body as we let go, quite the mind and flow to the movement of breath.

I pay gratitude to my teachers that have inspire me every day and helped me on my journey; Jamie and Dulce, Celest Pereira, Katarina Rayburn, Michael James Wong, Emily Clare-Hill, Marcus Veda, Lolo Lam and Lizaan Jacobs.. and many more beautiful teachers around the world.

WHY YOGA?

"We all come to yoga for different reasons, but we all come back for the same." - unknown

A journey intertwining mind, body and soul. Yoga is a mental, physical and spiritual practice that as well as keeping you fit and healthy, improves overall wellbeing. As a method of therapeutic release, studies have proven the positive impact incorporating yoga into your day-to-day activity can have on the brain, relieving the stresses of daily life (especially in a world where we find it easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle), improving focus, productivity, energy levels, health and performance. But yoga is not just about being fit, finding clarity, its about transcendence of all of those things, finding self-acceptance, removing judgement and being present who we are now.

Yoga is both on, and off the mat.

BRINGING YOGA TO WHERE IS MOST CONVENIENT FOR YOU:

STUDIO

Teaching yoga at numerous studios around London. You can experience dynamic, flowing sequences, surrounded by a community of those with similar interests. Rates are dependent on the studio. But no matter a gym atmosphere or a studio dedicated to Yoga, my classes are open to all levels of ability, and we will delve into the subtleties, strength, flexibility and mindfulness that brings people back to the mat again and again. When we step in the yoga studio, we are no longer a room of individuals, but one union of breath and movement, sharing positive energy and vibrations with those around us.

home

Bringing yoga to your home we can look at individual postures more closely, as well as working through a sequence that fits your personality and goals. We will focus deeper on your individual alignment and anatomy to discover why certain postures are available to some and not to others. You may have a goal, or inversion you are working towards and want to work together on. Maybe you are new to yoga and are too scared to step into a room full of others. No matter what it is, we can work together in the comfort of your home and at your preferable time. Making 1-2-1 yoga, a convenient, personal and popular option for many.

corporate

Yoga in the workplace. By bringing yoga to your workplace you will be encouraging a healthier way of living. The practice will help flexibility, strength, stamina and breathing but it is not just active living, yoga is important to people of all professions. Yoga will make your team members healthier; leading to less sick days, more productivity, and a less stressful environment through the teachings of stress management. Yoga has also shown the improvement of creativity, energy levels and overall performance in and out of work.
